1. Structural Form
Foldable: Traffic cones feature a hinged folding design. When unfolded, their dimensions are approximately 508mm × 466mm × 330mm; when folded, they are only 203mm × 203mm × 381mm, making them easy to store in a suitcase or vehicle.
Stackable: The base is a regular polygon or circle, designed to prevent damage to the reflective surface when stacked. The total height of two stacked cones does not exceed 1.3 times the height of a single cone, facilitating bulk stacking and transportation.
2. Usage Scenarios
Foldable cones are suitable for rapid on-site deployment, temporary road isolation, or emergency rescue. Their small storage volume makes them suitable for mobile work vehicles.
Stackable cones are more suitable for large-scale storage and long-term deployment, such as long-term construction barriers around highways and airports. They occupy minimal floor space when stacked.
3. Weight and Portability
A single foldable cone weighs approximately 0.62kg and comes with a handle, allowing for single-person transport.
Stackable models are typically made of PVC or soft materials, making them slightly lighter (approximately 0.48kg), but they require a dedicated stacking rack for handling.
4. Durability
Both use EVA or PVC polymer materials, offering UV resistance and impact resistance; however, the hinge area of the folding model requires additional rust prevention treatment, while the stackable model improves its pressure resistance through a thickened base.
